Ask your Candidates about Storm Water Management

Should we fight the state’s seemingly arbitrary decision to change West Amwell from a Tier B municipality (Rural and Non-Coastal) to Tier A (Urbanized or along or near the coast)?

Connor Montferrat and Rich DeMeuse, along with a majority of the Township Committee, say YES.

Why? We are not urban. We are not near the coast. We are a rural farming community. If you research the map of Tier A and Tier B municipalities, it is evident that our township should not be included. This shouldn’t be even up for debate.

The additional government requirements of Tier A simply don’t make sense for our community. For example, we would need to buy a street sweeper!

Our opponents say NO. Joan and Brian say we are “shrinking our responsibility” despite the stellar track record of West Amwell Township when it comes to our environment.

The extra governmental requirements will only lead to more red tape and higher costs for our residents. We need less government, fewer requirements, fewer regulations.

We need common sense over nonsense!

Vote for Connor Montferrat and Rich DeMeuse.
